It is only a matter of our preferences and the specificity of the interior.

It is considered that a freestanding bathtub takes up a lot of space, which is very valuable in small spaces. Sometimes it is just harder to install. Looking through the offer of modern models of free-standing bathtubs, we can see that they are from 100 to 140 cm long and approx. 65-75 cm wide. Importantly, you can also buy them in irregular shapes.
The small space of the bathroom is therefore not a problem for a free-standing bathtub to be installed in it. However, good space planning is important as poorly planned can make a room cramped with no particular style.
