RAVON na Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai

Expo 2025 in Osaka is a place where technologies, ideas, and design from around the world converge in one space. For us, it wasn't just an exhibition—it was a chance to demonstrate how refined detail and thoughtful form can become a universal language, understandable without translation.

Here's a behind-the-scenes look at our participation – from working with Bolesławiec crafts to choosing the product that best reflects what design with value is, we invite you!

Together with Manufaktura in Bolesławiec – a tradition that unites

One of the most special moments of our presence at Expo 2025 in Osaka was our collaboration with Manufaktura in Bolesławiec – a legendary place where the art of hand-decorated ceramics has been cultivated for generations. Workshops were held in the Polish Pavilion, during which guests could hand-stamp classic designs onto ceramic molds, using techniques inspired by the Bolesławiec tradition.

For us, as a brand deeply rooted in craftsmanship, the opportunity to co-create this experience was more than just a product presentation. It was a vibrant dialogue between cultures – demonstrating that aesthetics, precision, and attention to detail are values that transcend borders. Both Polish and Japanese craftsmanship traditions are based on respect for the work of human hands – which is why this joint project was so deeply meaningful to us.

Serenity – a form that speaks of silence and precision

During Expo 2025 in Osaka, we presented products from the Serenity collection, part of the BlueDot line created in collaboration with Manufaktura in Bolesławiec. This project combines Bolesławiec design with a modern approach to functional design – based on subtlety, precision, and a high level of formal refinement. Part of the exhibition featured a small countertop washbasin, the Space, adorned with a rhythmic pattern of hand-applied cobalt dots – a motif reminiscent of classic Bolesławiec decorations. This distinctive detail has been reinterpreted and transferred to a modern form, creating a cohesive, timeless composition.

The presentation was complemented by workshops conducted in collaboration with Manufaktura in Bolesławiec, during which visitors could stamp ceramic designs themselves, discovering how compositions inspired by the region's heritage are created. This allowed them to experience firsthand the idea behind the Serenity collection – a fusion of tradition and modernity.

The collection includes not only washbasins but also freestanding bathtubs, such as the Neo and Space models, which share the same design philosophy: simplicity of form, hand-finished finish, and respect for the material. For us, this is a unique design – one that reflects the Japanese monozukuri approach, where the process of creation is as valuable as the result.

Expo as a space for dialogue – what does participating in an event of this scale mean to us?

For our brand, attending Expo 2025 in Osaka means more than just showcasing a product. It's an opportunity to engage in a global dialogue about how the past can inspire the future—a perfectly aligned idea with the Polish presentation. For us, it's also a chance to make our mark among companies that create design with durability, functionality, and deeper meaning in mind.

As a Polish manufacturer of washbasins , we have been consistently building our brand image for years, combining quality craftsmanship with modern design. Expo allows us to showcase these values in a space where not only form matters, but also history and the approach to creation. This experience reinforces our belief that design makes sense when it's rooted in authenticity—and that this is precisely the voice we want to contribute to the international conversation about the future of design.

Durability in form and idea – what truly defines our design

We believe that the best design is one that doesn't try to stand out at all costs, but is built to last—not only in terms of material quality, but also emotionally. We've been building this approach for years, designing products that consciously address the need for balance between aesthetics and quality.

At RAVON, we focus on ensuring that every design has a deeper meaning. We strive to ensure that our designs don't blindly follow trends, but rather convey value—perceptible in proportion, texture, and cohesion. For us, durability means not only the longevity of the material, but also the integrity of the idea behind a given product. This is why we place such great importance on how things are created—from the first sketch to hand-finished work.

RAVON at the Expo in Japan – modern countertop washbasins in a global version

Participating in Expo 2025 in Osaka is a significant step for our brand towards building international recognition – but above all, it confirms that design based on craftsmanship, quality and responsibility also finds its place in a global context.

By presenting our product in a space where culture, tradition, and technology create a common language, we demonstrated that design can be a lasting source of value—regardless of scale, form, or location. This experience strengthens our belief that conscious design has a universal appeal that requires no translation.
