What's most important to each of us when it comes to bathroom cleaning? It's definitely quick and easy, requiring no special cleaning products for the RAVON bathtub , shower enclosure, or toilet. And the same can be said about RAVON bathtub and sink care.
The most important thing is that you don't need special, expensive care products. RAVON products will easily satisfy those commonly available on the market, especially those in spray form.
Care and maintenance of RAVON products
Below we present the main principles of care and maintenance of our products.
- For surface care, the following are recommended: soft body sponges or soft cloths, brushes with soft bristles.
- Limescale and rust cleaning fluids containing: sulfamic acid, phosphoric acid, cleaning fluids: 5% non-ionic surfactants or vinegar-based fluid.
- Disinfectants with the following composition: sodium hypochlorite – contains active chlorine.
- CAUTION! DO NOT USE ON GLOSSY SURFACES! Granular cleaning agents such as powdered calcium carbonate, 5% non-ionic powdered surfactants (e.g., milk products like Cif milk, or other powdered agents) may cause permanent damage to the surface, i.e., dulling of the sanitary coating.
- FOR MATT SURFACES, POWDERED CALCIUM CARBONATE IN MILK OR POWDER CAN BE USED, IN CASE OF HEAVY DIRT, E.G. FROM WINE, HAIR DYE, LIPSTICK OR FLUID.
- If the bathtub/sink is stained with nail polish, use an acetone-based liquid or acetone.
Removal of deposits, preservation and impregnation of surfaces
- Removing soap scum: apply liquid (5% non-ionic surfactants), wipe with a soft cloth, then rinse the bathtub and wipe dry.
- Removing limescale deposits: spray the liquid onto the dirty surface, use the massaging part of the body sponge to remove the dirt, rinse the bathtub and wipe dry.
- Safe drain disinfection: Apply disinfectant directly to the drain, wait 15 minutes, then thoroughly rinse the drain and its surrounding area.
- Safe drain unclogging: Sodium hydroxide granules or liquid drain cleaner. Apply the agent directly to the drain, wash any residue down the drain with water at a temperature of up to 65°C, wait 15 minutes, and rinse thoroughly.
- Surface maintenance, Restore shine is recommended once every 3 months. Rub calcium carbonate-based toothpaste onto the bathtub surface with a paper towel.
- Surface impregnation. Recommended once a month using a beeswax-based polishing wax. Apply the polish evenly to the entire bathtub/sink surface with a soft cloth.
Taking special precautions
Be especially careful when using hair dyes, mascara, foundation, or lipstick in contact with the bathtub/sink. After these products come into contact with the bathtub/sink surface, wash thoroughly. immediately and thoroughly clean the surface. Spray the surface with a liquid cleaner according to the instructions above, wipe with a soft cloth, and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Alternatively, wipe dry. These products may leave minimal discoloration if not removed immediately.
We recommend using a central water filter with a water softener.
