Acrylic bathtubs

Acrylic bathtubs are one of the cheapest and most common bathtubs on the Polish market . This is a material that has revolutionized the appearance of the bathroom, because it can be freely shaped, and thus can take on various forms. This is not without significance in a situation where we have, for example, a small bathroom, or one with asymmetrical shapes.

And krill is a plastic that started to become popular in the 1990s. At the same time, Poles were looking for bathtubs with numerous profiles in the form of seats or headrests. Bathtubs Acrylics have proven that thanks to their plasticity they are able to create forms that meet the expectations of every customer.

Advantages of acrylic bathtubs

Acrylic bathtub users agree that they are easy to use and keep clean. Additionally, they weigh the least of all products of this type available on the market. They are not difficult to install and also maintain the water temperature better than steel bathtubs.

Prices for acrylic bathtubs

The simplest acrylic bathtubs are also among the cheapest on the market. So if we plan to buy a universally shaped bathtub, it certainly won't ruin our budget. We can buy an acrylic bathtub for just... PLN 100.

Steel bathtubs

Steel bathtubs are products most often chosen by people who value traditional solutions and materials. They are available in many colors, shapes and dimensions, although their selection is slightly smaller than in the case of acrylic bathtubs. Modern enamels with which they are covered increase their resistance to impacts, scratches and detergents.

Users of steel bathtubs often emphasize the fact that water cools down quickly in them. Steel conducts heat well. However, this can be remedied by installing a polystyrene casing, which thermally insulates the bathtub and also dampens it.

Advantages of steel bathtubs

The undoubted advantage of steel bathtubs is their high resistance to mechanical damage, as well as discoloration and the action of cleaning agents. The enamel they are covered with does not dull as quickly as acrylic, so we can enjoy their beautiful appearance for longer. An additional advantage is the ability to choose any color of the bathtub depending on your own tastes and preferences.

Prices for steel bathtubs

Steel bathtubs are more expensive than acrylic ones, although searching the nooks and crannies of the internet you can come across models starting at PLN 250 and up. Unfortunately, their quality of workmanship often leaves much to be desired, so it is sometimes worth reaching for slightly more expensive models. Of course, we are not talking about those that cost more than PLN 10,000.

Both acrylic and steel bathtubs have their advantages and disadvantages, so if you still don't know which one to choose, use your own common sense and the arrangement of your bathroom.
