When purchasing a care kit, follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer. We start repair work with thorough cleaning of the surface with a cleaning agent. Then, using sandpaper, we proceed to grinding the damage. In this case, the so-called wet sanding papers. As a rule, we use coarse-grained paper at the beginning, and then those with finer grains. Dry the polished bathtub thoroughly and polish it with polishing paste until it becomes glossy.
Remember: Acrylic bathtubs with minor scratches do not require long polishing. Just five minutes is enough to restore their shine.

How to fix deep scratches?
In the case of larger scratches, scratches and cracks in the acrylic, it is recommended to use a repair kit consisting of liquid acrylic and hardener, as well as polishing paste. If possible, choose a product from the same manufacturer that produced the acrylic bathtub. Then we are sure that the color of the repaired surface will be identical to that of the entire bathtub.
When starting the repair of the bathtub, remember to thoroughly degrease and clean it. Then follow the instructions attached by the manufacturer to the repair kit. We connect the liquid acrylic and the hardener with each other and then fill the defect. The prepared mortar is left to dry, and then ground and polished in the same way as for minor damages.

If you do not plan to rearrange your bathroom, it is definitely worth spending a small amount of time repairing the bathtub. It is not a complicated and difficult activity.
